The Ajax KeyPad Plus Jeweller 38253.83.WH1 is a wireless touch-sensitive security keypad designed to provide quick, convenient, and secure control of compatible Ajax alarm systems. Finished in white, it allows users to arm and disarm the system, activate Night Mode, control individual security groups, and trigger an emergency alarm directly from the keypad.

In addition to traditional access codes, KeyPad Plus supports Ajax Pass contactless cards and Tag key fobs, providing an easy way for authorised users to control the alarm without entering a code. Pass and Tag use DESFire® technology to provide secure contactless identification.

The keypad supports multiple access options, including personal passcodes and a duress code. If a user is forced to disarm the security system, the duress code can perform the requested action while discreetly sending an alarm notification.

Integrated protection against repeated passcode guessing provides additional security against unauthorised access attempts, while the built-in panic button can be used to quickly trigger an emergency alarm when required.

KeyPad Plus communicates wirelessly with a compatible Ajax hub using the secure Jeweller radio protocol, providing a communication range of up to 1,700 metres in open space.

Installation is straightforward using the supplied SmartBracket mounting panel, and the keypad can be quickly paired with the Ajax system by scanning its QR code. Settings and configuration can then be managed remotely through the Ajax app.
